Man..... I have not been on live journal in a while. I almost forgot my password. Anyway this is my last weekend to enjoy before I go back to school. Oh well it was good while it lasted. This year I set a few goals for myself. First, to read the Bible reading for every week. Second, to read the yearbook cover to cover. And Third, to get all my time in by June. Fourth, to go snowboarding before winter is over with. Well that is all. I don't feel like typing anymore. Until next time......... |

| FINALLY!!!!! |
[Dec. 20th, 2003|06:23 am] |
|
FInally Finals are over. Now I can sit back and relax..............for a minute. And I know longer have to update live journal. I still might update it every now and then just for the heck of it. School starts back January 12 so I have a few weeks to breathe. Now I can look forward to our assembly...and maybe going to West Palm Beach. (that depends on if my brother gets us tickets of not) But if we don't go, I at least want to go snowboarding before I go back to school. |

One final down, 3 to go. The final I took today was easy. It was open book and open note. If only the other 3 were the same way. Oh well......... I have learned an important lesson. COLLEGE IS FROM THE DEVIL!!!! Its only purpose is to steal money away from people. Well at least I am not paying for it, ( thanks to my good friends scholarship and grant) but it is stealing a lot of my time. Is it worth it???? |

I can't think of anything to write about. I'm just too lazy to think right now. Oh yeah.... I have a new favorite song. Up until yesterday it was "Harder to Breathe" by Maroon 5. Now its "Here Without You" by 3 Doors Down. What else is new??????????? Oh yeah I started on the Bible reading for this week. I read the first 2 chapters of 1 John. I don't remember what they were about, but I did read them. (As if that will really do me any good.) Man this journal entry sucks. Well at least its not Depressing. |

After the Watchtower on Sunday I went to Danny's house to drop off a controller that I had borrowed earlier. When I got their he was talking to Dathan, who I had not seen or talked to in a long time. Dathan used to live down the street from me and we went to the same congregation. In 1998 he moved to Florida. And for some reason we did not stay in touch. So yesterday I got a chance to talk to him for the first time about five years. He mentioned that in his congregation he there were a lot of people from Barbados, Jamaica, and Cuba. He also mentioned that he had just came from a gathering that one of the sisters at his congregation had invited him to. She made some Jamaican dishes that he had never tried before and he said that they were good. Actually saying that the food was good is an understatement. THe food was.....to kill for. ( I'm sure you have had food this good before.) So after hearing all of this, I told that I would fly down to Florida the next day and stay there the whole week. Well today is the next day and I am not on my way to Florida. So maybe I slightly exxagerated about coming the next day. I do plan on going there sometime soon though. Now if only I could find a few victims to come along with me. |

| | Harder to Breathe (Maroon 5) | ] | Well finally after a couple of weeks of planning (as if that really made a difference) I was finally able to have the Watchtower study at my house. Just about everyone I invited came (and just so I can make this entry long I guess I can name everyone) Dianna(Dee-Dee), Bryan(Critter), Kimberly, Jan, Gail, Corissia, Evan(Cheesecake), Nina, Foster, Antoine, Drumell (Little evil Spoon), Estan, Joshua, Kelly.......and I think that was it. The following people did not show up and consequently will be going to Hell: Cordell(Cordial), Tommy(Junior), Chris, Manny, and Kelly. They really missed out because we had a lot of fun. Not to mention I now feel spiritually refreshed. |

Okay... so I have not updated my journal in a day or two. I need to catch up. Lets see... tomorrow I will probably be out on service all day and Friday I have a math test to take. Saturday I will got out in service in the afternoon. The rest of the day will probably be spent on finishing up my Watchtower and probably playing video games or whatever else I can think of that does not require me to think or spend money on. |

| Idea (before) |
[Nov. 5th, 2003|11:37 am] |
|
Last Friday I invited a few friends over to watch a movie and quite a few people showed up. (10 or 11 all together) Considering the fact that this was a last minute thing, I thought that was pretty good. Now I wonder if I invited some people over to study the Watchtower as a group would the turnout be just as good. One brother at my hall claimed that when he gets the young people together to do something fun, all of them show up. But when he tries to get them together to do something spiritual, no one shows up. So with that being said, I think I'm going to get a group of young people together and try to study the Watchtower for the following week. If it works, I might consider doing it on a regular basis. I'm going to try it and see if it works. |

| Recap |
[Nov. 5th, 2003|11:23 am] |
|
Well........... I guess I will do a little recap of my weekend. Friday I had a few people over and we watched Just Married. The movie was funny but extremely long...speaking of which I need to return it to Blockbusters today. (Or did I get it from Hollywood Video????) Anyway.... on Saturday I spent 3hrs out in service and then played video games over June's house. Sunday I went to the quick build and tried to make myself as useful as possible. Afterward I went over Angie's house and played cards. Overall I'd have to say I had a pretty fun weekend. |

| Short, Simple, to the Point.. |

This weekend went by entirely too fast. (Haven't I said that before) Thursday I went to the Kingdom Hall building project. Friday I saw Scary Movie 3. Saturday I went to building site then I went over the Spoon's house. Sunday I went to building project and back to the Spoon's house. I played cards and I stuffed myself with pizza. I had a lot of fun this weekend and it helped me appreciate the privilege of being in Jehovah's Organization. |

| Past Weekend.....Not to Shabby |
[Oct. 20th, 2003|09:20 am] |
|
This weekend went by entirely too fast. (As they alway do). Friday I went to see the Pistons Lose against Miami, Saturday I went over Evan's house to finish a report, and Sunday I went over my cousin Bryan's house. Also of special note is that I carried the microphone for the Watchtower on Sunday, and I didn't trip, drop the microphone, hit anyone in the face with the microphone, or take too long to get to the friends. I am definitely getting better. I deserve a pat on the back. |

| Another Busy Week |
[Oct. 20th, 2003|06:15 am] |
|
Well.... here we go again.. another busy week. Thursday I have the instruction talk. I will probably have it out completely by Tuesday. Also Thursday-Sunday the Kingdom Hall on Helen will need volunteers for there building project. Of course I will be there everyday to assist, assuming that I don't die before then. |

| Weekend |
[Oct. 15th, 2003|08:21 am] |
|
Well, so far I made it halfway through the week and I'm still sane so....... I guess I can make it through the rest of the week. Yesterday we finally finished the Isaiah Prophecy book. I remember when they first released the book. Now we are finished with it. Time seems as if it is going faster the older I get. Speaking of time, I have the instruction talk next week which is talking about having a Godly view of time. It is going to interesting to see how I am going to get that out. Anyway this weekend looks like it is going to fun. Friday I am going to the movies with some friends (the dollar show of course) Saturday I think our congregation is supposed to be playin football. If not , then I will probably stay home and catch up on some homework, and maybe I will finally be able to finish Zelda WW. |

| So far so good......... |
[Oct. 11th, 2003|08:38 am] |
This week went by pretty quickly. I managed to pass all my test with at least a C or better. Not bad considering the fact that I didn't study for them. On Thursday I had a part on the Service meeting called "Be Sure To Out First Things First". Everyone said I did good, so I am assuming I did a good job. I was a little nervous at first, but as usual the nervousness went away as I got into the talk. The friends were very supportive with their comments. In fact the part was SUPPOSED to be 15 minutes, but it ended up being almost 25 minutes. But it was a substitute part, so the bothers did say anything about it. So far today has been a pretty decent day. I have not had to deal with any near-death situations yet. When I get home, I will finish my Watchtower, finish my Spanish homework, then I will probably go by June's house. |

| Madness |
[Oct. 8th, 2003|09:24 am] |
|
Well today has been a crazy day. This mourning I was running late. So I had to quickly throw some clothes on (literally). When I got to school somehow I fell out of the car. I don't know how, but I did. When I finally got to my office the Carbon Monoxide detectors started to go off. The maintenance people claimed that they were false alarms, and that I should not worry. Why does that not sound very comforting? Next thing you know I'll be dead. But its ok, I seem to have to deal with situations that seem deadly everyday. On the way to lunch I tripped and fell over one of my classmates. She was lying on the floor(for some odd reason) and somehow I did not see her. Maybe its time for a new pair of glasses. Well other than these small accidents, I seem to be ok, so I guess this day could have been worst. |

| Still Breathing |
[Oct. 6th, 2003|10:52 am] |
|
Well today is Monday, almost a week since I had the tainted Cheeseburger. I am still alive, so I guess I don't have E.Coli after all. This week is going to be busy. I have 4 test today and 3 on Wednesday (all of which I will probably fail). My Social Diversity teacher claims that his test will be easy but considering the fact that I have not read any of the book, I will probably fail. The only test I will probably pass will be my Spanish test. And even then I don't know how, I can barely speak English let alone Spanish. (I should try writing one of my journal entries in Spanish.) Besides taking all these test, I have a part on the Service Meeting on Thursday. It is about putting spiritual things first in life. It is a question and answer, so it should'nt be that hard. It would probably make sense to start on it today, considering the fact that I only have 3 days. |

| Wendy's |
[Oct. 1st, 2003|09:52 am] |

Today I have learned a very important lesson. NEVER EAT ANY OF WENDY'S HAMBURGERS. Today I went there for lunch and I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich. When I got back to work, I found out that they gave me a double cheeseburger instead. Instead of returning it I just went ahead and ate it. About five minutes later I start to get this nauseating feeling in my stomach. Then it got worst. Now I feel horrible. I told everyone at work that I probably contracted E. coli. Nobody believed me. That's ok, wait until I die, then they will be sorry. Oh well.....another day..... another lesson learned. |

The weirdest thing happened on Wednesday. My teacher walked into the classroom and told us to give him our live journal user names so he could look at them and see if we set them up and that we had at least one entry. We had 3 weeks to set them up and they were due Wednesday. Of course I waited until the last minute to get mine set up, but I had it set up in time. The only thing was that I had no idea what my first entry said. (I did not exactly set it up by myself, I had a little assistance.) SO anyway to make a long story short, I gave him my user name, which I could barely remember. Then after class I went to the Computer lab to check it to see what it said. Of course I was shocked when I saw the screen. It said "Hey I'm a Loser" What???? Out of all the things that could have been written, it had to be that. I was to determined to make sure that the little spoon would burn in the darkest, hottest pits of Gehenna. In the meantime my teacher e-mailed me my grade. Surprisingly I got an A. I was wondering "How in the world did I get an A. THis man must be on crack, Or some other s... stuff." But after going looking at my class syllabus again, I found out that our first live journal grade was based on if we set up an account, and that we had at least one entry by Wednesday. So things turned out better than I had anticipated. Now comes the real challenge, he expects us to update the journal at least 4 times a week. Oh well, things could have turned out worst, so I won't complain. |
